Donna J. Yeakle, 60, LaFontaine, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Rolling Meadows in LaFontaine. She was born in Peru, Indiana, on Tuesday, November 30, 1965, to the late David Newman and the late Jean Gish. Donna met and married the love of her life, Wes Yeakle.
Donna was a life member of AmVets Post 5. She enjoyed singing, dancing, and gambling. Her biggest enjoyments were spending time with family, friends, and especially her children and grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her three children, David Newman of NC, Megan (Carlos) Delgado of Marion, and Micah (Chelsey) Yeakle of Gas City; 32 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and special person in her life, Wes Yeakle.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Gish; father, David Newman; and brothers, Donald and Douglas Newman.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a funeral service to celebrate Donna’s life will begin at 11:00 am. Pastor Mick Simpkins will be officiating with burial following at Estates of Serenity.
