Regina Rae Lovett, 72, of Gas City, passed away at 5:45 pm on Monday, April 21, 2025. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, February 10, 1953, to Clyde and Bernice (Wallace) Parks. On January 3, 1970, she married Mike Lovett and he survives.
Regina attended Mississinewa High School and worked at several factories. She spent 12 years with Chrysler in Kokomo, retiring in 2006. She was a member of New Life Fellowship in Gas City. Regina was a lifetime member of the American Legion and VFW, and was a member of the Amvets and Gas City Moose. She also donated regularly to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Regina loved to play bingo and travel to Las Vegas whenever she had the chance. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing food for her family and friends. Regina was a selfless person who did anything for the people that God placed in her path. She was friendly and cherished meeting new people. Regina will be remembered as a genuine, protective, and loving woman who made a great impact on her family and friends.
In addition to her loving husband, survivors include her son, Michael (Kendia) Lovett Jr. of Gas City; daughter, Michelle R Lovett of Gas City; grandson, Kaleb Lovett; granddaughters, Andrea (Kade Beck) Lovett, Amaya (Stephen Shearer) Wright; brothers, Clyde "Buck" (Peggy) Parks of FL, Richard James Parks of Gas City, Roger Dean (Melissa) Parks of Gas City, Russ (Roxanne) Parks of MN; sisters, Cora N (Late Dave) Horner of Jonesboro, Billie Jolene Webb of FL; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; her beloved grandpuppies, Sofie and Charleigh; as well as her best friends, Teresa Clevenger, Pamela (Danny) Bennet and Robin Huffer.
She was preceded in death by parents, Clyde R. and Bernice Parks; sisters, Janice Wallace, Bonnie S. Parks, Joan Lloyd, Vonda Darlene Pool, Delores (Gene) Grant; brothers, Charles Leon Parks, Clarence William Parks; and her dog, Baby.
The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, IN.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Regina's life will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel. Paul McPhearson will be officiating with burial following at Riverside Cemetery.
