Larry D. Kinner, 82, of Marion, passed away at 12:59 am on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center in Marion. He was born in Muncie, Indiana, on Tuesday, September 9, 1941, to Raymond and Esther (Gerlach) Kinner. He married Connie McCollum, who survives.
Larry graduated from Marion High School in class of 1959 and received his Masters Degree from Ball State University.
Larry worked as a substitute teacher for 10 years with Marion High School until his retirement. He was an avid sports fan and he collected baseball cards. Larry followed IU basketball, the Chicago Cubs, and the Indianapolis Colts. He loved to watch movies and TV.
Larry is survived by wife, Connie Kinner of Marion; son, Andrew (Chizuko) Kinner of FL; two grandsons, Shane Kinner and Wyatt Kinner.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
At Larry's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
