GRANT COUNTY, IN- The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is aware of a video circulating on social media involving an arrest that occurred on May 27th, 2026, at 3741 South Selby Street.
The incident involved officers attempting to take a suspect into custody during a felony narcotics investigation. During the arrest, force was used by officers while attempting to secure the suspect in handcuffs.
The incident is currently being reviewed in accordance with department policy and procedures. Additional information will be released later as the review progresses.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to transparency and accountability and asks the public to allow the review process to proceed before drawing conclusions based on limited footage or information.
