Stephen G. Danser, 76, Indianapolis, passed away at 12:05 am on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Greenfield Healthcare Center in Greenfield. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Thursday, January 19, 1950, to Ora and Marcelle (Irwin) Danser.
He worked as an Iron Worker for 20 years with Union Iron Workers. Stephen also drove a truck for Covenant Transport and later on managed the terminal. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and some woodworking.
Survivors include his daughter, Jamie (Dennis) Ramseyer of Monroe, TN; grandchildren, Kayla Ramseyer, Allison Goff; great-grandsons, Hunter, Colten, Everett, Emerson; brother, Bob (Vickie) Danser; sister, Sandra Plinski; brother, Brian Danser; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ora and Marcelle Danser; brother, David Danser; and brother -in-law, Frank Plinski.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Stephen’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Gas City.
