Salamonie Lake announces Senior Luncheon on Friday, June 5

ANDREWS, IN- The Senior Luncheon will be held at noon, June 5 at the Salamonie Lake Interpretive Center, located in Lost Bridge West SRA. Anyone age 50 or older is welcome to attend.

Meet Kathryn Lisinicchia, chair of Huntington, Indiana MACES (Mayor’s Advisory Council on Environmental Stewardship) and Huntington City Tree Board. She is also Resiliency Coordinator for Northeast Indiana with Earth Charter Indiana. Kathryn will share how she came to serve in these roles and viable ways you can positively impact and influence your community through environmental stewardship.

The program begins with a carry-in meal at noon. Guests should bring a side dish to share, a beverage, and their table service. Pulled pork will be provided. A donation will be accepted to help defray costs.

Seating is limited. Reservations may be made by emailing trody@dnr.in.gov or by calling 260-468-2127.

The program with Upper Wabash Interpretive Services is located at 3691 New Holland Road, Andrews, 46702. Gate fees do apply when the entrance is staffed. $7 per Indiana vehicle, $50 for annual entrance permit to all Indiana State Parks or $25 permit for those 65 or over.
