WABASH, IN – In April, Honeywell Arts & Entertainment held its annual volunteer recognition dinner at
the Honeywell Center. The event honored over 100 volunteers who generously donated their time and
contributed 11,884 hours in 2025 to support the organization’s various initiatives. Lou Ann Shoemaker
was announced as 2025 Volunteer of the Year. The event was sponsored by Heartland REMC.
Honeywell Arts & Entertainment relies heavily on the dedication and support of its volunteers, who
serve as theater ushers, festival help, tour guides, landscaping assistants, and administrative support.
These individuals play a vital role in ensuring that the organization continues to offer exceptional
programming and experiences to guests and visitors.
