Richard “Rick” Allen Andrews, 70, Marion, passed away in his home at 3:05 pm on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Thursday, October 20, 1955, to Harry and Mary (Saytor) Andrews.
Rick graduated from Marion High School and was a proud Union Carpenter. He loved dogs, especially his favorite, Brownie. He was a true outdoorsman; he loved fishing, trapping, mushroom and ginseng hunting. He was a good cook and made great soup and lasagna.
Survivors include his sister, Debi Myers of Marion; brother, Jeff Andrews of Marion; nephews, Kyle (Christina) Andrews of Fairmount, Jackie (Jennifer) Poe of Gas City, Christopher Kelley of Marion; niece, Bridget Nicole Kelley of Marion; and great-niece, Emma Poe; as well as many cherished family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mary Andrews; grandparents, Thomas and Florence Andrews, Frank and Cynthia Saytor; brother-in-law, Tom Myers; and sister-in-law, Beverly Andrews.
The family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Hillside Wesleyan Church, 2510 S. Home Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Rick’s life will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gary Bingham officiating.
