Dakota Ryan Decker, Jr., Marion, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Friday, February 20, 2026, to Dakota Decker, Sr. and Joyia Swift.
Survivors include his father, Dakota Ryan Decker, Sr. of Marion; mother, Joyia Swift of Marion; maternal grandmother, Tawana (Bobby) Swift of Marion; grandfather, Harold Decker; great grandmother, Annie Bryant; aunts, Tracie Johnson, Hailey Johnson; uncles, Chris Decker, Garond McCray, Jerome McCray; and great aunt, Gretchen White.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Melinda Miller and Uncle Del’Ray Swift.
A private graveside service to honor Dakota will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Grant Memorial Park 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN.
