Patricia Louise Campbell

Patricia Louise Campbell, 73, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 8:58 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Rolling Meadows Healthcare Center in La Fontaine. She was born on June 2, 1952, in Marion, Indiana, to Verlin D. and Cora Mae (Bass) Himelick.

Pat, a 1970 graduate of Eastbrook High School, went on to attend Butler University. On August 6, 1988, she married Curtis E. Campbell at Lakeview Wesleyan Church in Marion, Indiana, beginning a partnership rooted in faith, family, and devotion. Pat built a meaningful career as an accountant, a profession well‑suited to her steady nature and attention to detail. Her faith was a central part of her life; she was a longtime member of Lakeview Wesleyan Church and currently attended Lafontaine Christian Church. She embraced community wherever she went. Pat was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and shared her love of gospel music by singing in a quartet. She enjoyed traveling and especially cherished time spent at her Branson, Missouri timeshare, kept in touch with friends and family on Facebook, and enjoyed playing games. Above all, Pat found her greatest joy in supporting her children and attending their activities. Her presence—warm, encouraging, and unwavering—was a constant gift to those she loved.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis E. Campbell of Wabash; four children, Michelle (Stephen) Birrer of Zionsville, Indiana, Cameron C. (Morgan) Campbell of Wabash, Curtis E. (Robyn) Campbell II of Warsaw, Indiana, and Holly (Chris) Frederick of Upland, Indiana; five grandchildren, Hayley Birrer, Landon Birrer, Clay Campbell, Cora Campbell, and Cassandra (Heath) Honeycutt; great-grandson, Braylon Honeycutt, and two brothers, Terry (Mindy) Himelick of Marion, Indiana, and Darrell (Lisa) Himelick of Seminole, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Gary Himelick and Rex Himelick.
