MIAMI COUNTY, IN- Beacon Credit Union is excited to inform the community about the 2026 kickoff of their charitable program “Project Spotlight.” This is the 16th year of shining a light on those that work hard to better our communities. Through Project Spotlight, their goal is to be able to support community projects both large and small, and to bring awareness to the many helpful organizations.
ALL Nominations will be online submissions from Now until May 31. You can nominate your organization by visiting beaconcu.org. Project Spotlight links can also be accessed on social media. Nominations will close on May 31.
2026 online voting is scheduled to run July 1 through July 31. At the end of the voting process, the organization in each qualifying community receiving the most votes will win $1,000 of funding from Beacon Credit Union. The second place winners in each community will receive $500. A third place winner will be chosen by random drawing and will receive $250 of funding.
Once you have been nominated, please spread the word. Ask your friends, neighbors, colleagues, extended family, EVERYONE you know to visit the website and vote, beginning July 1.
