City of Wabash Street Department announces Spring Clean-up dates

WABASH, IN- The City of Wabash Street Department is pleased to announce the 2026 Spring Clean-up dates. Spring Clean-up will begin on Monday, April 27, and will end on Saturday May 2 at 1pm. This service is for City of Wabash residents only.

All items should be curbside by 6am on your weekly trash route day.

Piles are to be no larger than a 4×8 pile.

They encourage residents not to place items curbside more than two weeks before their scheduled pick-up date.

A dumpster will be provided at the Street Department at 1360 Manchester Avenue for residents who do not want to place items on the curbside. The hours will be from 10am-6pm Monday through Friday and 8am-1pm on Saturday.

Proof of city residence will be required.

Items not accepted at curbside by the Street Department include cardboard boxes, batteries, paint, petroleum products, chemicals, televisions, computers and other electronic devices, tires, appliances with freon, loose shingles, drywall, and plaster.

All items above except loose shingles, drywall and plaster, should be dropped off at the Wabash County Solid Waste Management District. There is no fee for this service. The district does not accept trash.

The Street Department will make every effort to stay on schedule. However, due to weather conditions or high volumes, delays may occur. If this happens, please be patient, your items will be picked up as soon as possible.
