WABASH COUNTY, IN- Wabash County United Fund is proud to announce it has successfully reached its $300,000 campaign goal for the 2026 campaign, a milestone made possible through the generosity of the Wabash County community and a $40,000 matching gift from the Ford Meter Box Foundation. This achievement ensures continued support for 19 local agencies and 21 programs that serve residents across Wabash County.
“For me, this is more than a number,” said Kelli Dale, Executive Director of Wabash County United Fund. “It represents real people, families, and lives being impacted every single day. I have the privilege of seeing that firsthand, and I’m incredibly proud to stand alongside each of our funded agencies for years to come. This work, these partnerships, and this community mean so much to me, and I’m grateful for what we’ve accomplished together as a community, and all that we will continue to build moving forward.”
The success of the campaign was driven by strong community engagement, including individual donors, local businesses, and employee campaigns throughout the county and surrounding areas, such as those led by MSD of Wabash County. “We are so proud of our staff’s ongoing generosity with raising a total of $6,628.00,” said Northfield Principal Jay Snyder, who leads the employee campaign.
“Our team sees the daily needs in our community and never hesitates to give back; they truly understand that when we support our neighbors, we are supporting our students and their families as well.”
In addition to funding local agencies, Wabash County United Fund continues to lead and support initiatives such as Thrive 85, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, the Annual Wabash Rotary & United Fund Golf Outing, and other collaborative efforts that expand access to resources and bring the community together.
“Reaching our $300,000 campaign goal reflects the generosity of our community, the dedication of our board, and the leadership of our Executive Director,” said Jennifer Meyer, Board Treasurer of Wabash County United Fund. “Most importantly, it shows how strongly Wabash County believes in the vital services our local nonprofit agencies provide. This level of support sends a clear message, these services matter, and our community is committed to ensuring they continue to make a meaningful impact.”
For 69 years, Wabash County United Fund has remained committed to improving quality of life by investing in programs that support education, health, and financial stability. Wabash County United Fund extends its deepest gratitude to every donor, volunteer, and partner who made this achievement possible.
