GRANT COUNTY, IN- Adria P. Wilkerson, Age 31, has been extradited from the State of Florida and transported back to Grant County, Indiana.
Ms. Wilkerson was previously located and arrested by the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office in Venice, Florida, on an outstanding Indiana warrant for Reckless Homicide. Following the completion of the extradition process, she has now been returned to Indiana and is currently being housed in the Grant County Jail.
The warrant stems from a fatal vehicle crash that occurred on October 1, 2025, on State Road 18 in front of Oak Hill High School. The crash resulted in the death of Vicki Colley, who succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team conducted the investigation. The case was submitted to the Grant County Prosecutor’s Office, and charges were formally filed.
As in all criminal cases, the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
