Emley K Sizemore, 77, of Marion, passed away at 1:04 am on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center in Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Saturday, December 18, 1948, to Evan and Catherine (Blankenship) Bragg.
Emley worked at Ball Foster for 32 years, retiring in 2000. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers. She will be greatly missed by her loving circle of family and friends.
Emley is survived by the love of her life Mark Hurd with whom she spent 36 years; daughters, Rhonda Sizemore of Marion, IN, and Joy Roberts of Gas City, IN; sons, Steven (Crystal) Hurd of Hartford City, IN, and Brian (Brandy) Hurd of Marion, IN; brothers, Evan Bragg of Marion, IN and David Allen Bragg, Sr. of TX; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by father, Evan Bragg; mother, Catherine N. Bragg; daughter, Terry Bell; son, David Sizemore; three sisters, Roberta Huffman, Evon Bragg, Kathy Borrow; brother, Steve Bragg; grandson, Andrew; and great-granddaughter, Nayalie
At Emley’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
