
Milton Dean “Zeb” Garland, 82, Marion, passed away at 8:49 am on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Marion Health. He was born in Peru, Indiana, on Monday, March 15, 1943, to Doris (Garland) Bradshaw. On June 28, 1964, he married Fannie L. Miller and she survives.
Milton attended Peru High School and was a member of Unity Christian Church. He was a boilermaker for 25 years with Bryan Steam. He enjoyed watching westerns, game shows, sitcoms, and wrestling. Going on walks, reading and word searches were favorite pastimes. He was a comedian and jokester by his own right who was quick with one-liners. He was a hard worker who loved his family and was well liked and loved by his family.
Survivors include his wife, Fannie L. Garland of Marion; daughters, Cheryl Williams of Marion, Tonya (Mike) Henson of Marion; grandchildren, Kathryn Henson, Trey (Cami Clouser) Henson; brother, Kenneth (Phil Nam) Garland; and half-brother, Dallas (Cathy) Bradshaw.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Bradshaw; daughter, Christine Michelle Garland; and son-in-law, Bill Williams.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Milton’s life will begin at 12:00 pm with Pastor Kevin Greenlee officiating. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory – Marion.
