Jeffery L. Cooper, 63, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died Thursday, December 4, 2025, at his home. He was born on November 9, 1962, in Wabash, to Terry E. and Kay Marie (McNeeley) Cooper.
Jeff was a 1981 graduate of Northfield High School and served in the US Navy on the USS Ponce. He worked for more than 40 years as a machinist, for various machine shops in the area, and also worked at Senior Helpers in Wabash. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan and enjoyed fishing, horses, spending time in the outdoors, and mushroom hunting.
He is survived by his siblings, Mark (Mary) Cooper of Peru, Robert "Scott" (Rhonda) Cooper of Claypool, Indiana, and April Dawn (Harley "Dave") O'Neal of Liberty Center, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a Celebration of Jeff's life at a later date. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
