Serena A. Newsome, 66, of Lagro, Indiana, died at 11:42 pm, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at her home. She was born on July 24, 1959, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Lloyd and Alice (Campbell) Stevens.
Serena was married to Hayes Newsome for 47 years. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed riding horses, attending the demolition derby, attending concerts, and riding on their motorcycle with Hayes.
She is survived by her husband, Hayes Newsome of Lagro; two sons Eric Himes of Wabash, and Jeremy Newsome of Lagro; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation for family and friends will be 3-4 pm Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.
