Todd D. Small, 51, of Marion, passed away at 6:03 pm on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. He was born on September 23, 1974, in Marion, Indiana, to Phillip “Dean” Small and Rhea (Botkin) Smart. He was married to Julia (Sanger), who survives.
Todd attended Marion High School and worked as a union operator with Local Union 103 for many years.
Todd was known for his strong work ethic. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and spending time outside. He had a sharp wit, a fiery personality, and a big heart. Todd loved cooking and took joy in feeding family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Small of Marion; father, Phillip “Dean” Small; mother, Rhea Smart; daughters, Taylor Muskar and Khloe Henrick; sisters, Deanna Yeakle, Ashley Markowski, and Terry (Steve) Swetnam; brothers, Adam Markowski, Mike (Mike) Combs, Steve (Shelley) Combs, and Tom (Michelle) Bosh; several nieces and nephews; several uncles and an aunt; sister-in-law, Shelley (Jerry) Marley; mother-in-law, Susan Schaumleffel; brother-in-law, Loren Muchmore; and close friend, Travis Yoder.
The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Todd's life will begin at 2:00 pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating.
