Sam Bush has spent over five decades redefining bluegrass. From teen fiddler and three-time national champion to co-founding the band New Grass Revival, Bush blends jazz, rock 'n' roll, and improvisation to create the newgrass movement. A collaborator with Leon Russell, Emmylou Harris, Bela Fleck, and more, he continues to shape the genre. With seven solo albums and festival performances, Bush remains a true master of his craft. The Del McCoury Band – Sat., April 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Honeywell Center
Even among music’s greats, Del McCoury stands alone. A living link to bluegrass, from the Grand Ole Opry to sold-out festivals and viral videos, he leads the Del McCoury Band, now with sons Ronnie and Rob. Celebrated for albums like Songs of Love and Life and Almost Proud, multiple GRAMMY Awards, and DelFest, Del continues to bridge generations and genres, delivering authentic bluegrass that resonates with audiences old and new. The SteelDrivers with Special Guest Bobcat Opossum – Fri., May 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Honeywell Center
Only Nashville could give birth to a band like The SteelDrivers: seasoned veterans, each distinguished in their own right, seizing an opportunity to follow their hearts to their souls’ reward. Blending their bluegrass roots with country, soul, blues, and contemporary influences, Richard Bailey, Tammy Rogers, Mike Fleming, Brent Truitt, and Matt Dame are known for hits like “Blue Side of the Mountain,” “Where Rainbows Never Die,” and “If It Hadn’t Been for Love.” Tickets start at $31.
