Great American Smokeout to begin on November 20, 2025

WABASH COUNTY, IN- The Great American Smokeout will take place on November 20, 2025, to encourage those who smoke to quit for at least one day and promote a smoke-free lifestyle.

Quitting smoking is not easy. It takes time. And a plan. Those who smoke do not have to stop smoking in one day. Start with day one. Let the Great American Smokeout event on November 20 be the day to start a journey toward a smoke-free life!

Thousands of people who smoke across the country are taking an important step toward a healthier life and reducing cancer risk. Plus, the Wabash County Tobacco Free Coalition can help you access the resources and support you need to quit.

Giving up smoking is a difficult journey, but chances of success can increase with a good plan and support. Getting help through counseling and medications doubles or even triples chances of quitting successfully.
