After a courageous battle with cancer, Carol Noel Sanchez, age 63, of Marion, passed away at 9:20 am on Sunday, October 12, 2025, in her home. Born in Marion, Indiana, on Monday, December 25, 1961, she was the beloved daughter of Ralph and Darlene (Barringer) Hunter. She was married to her loving husband, Jaime Sanchez, who survives.
Carol attended Marion High School and Indiana Business College. She was deeply devoted to her business and took great pride in being the plant lady of Interior Jungle. Carol loved, more than anything, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her pets.
Survivors include her husband, Jaime Sanchez of Marion, IN; daughter, Talia (Nathan Ainslie) Halliday of Bloomington, IN; sons, Zachary Case of Marion, IN, and Gabriel Hunter Sanchez of Marion, IN; grandchildren, Damian Ainslie, Violet Ainslie, River Ainslie, Griffin Halliday, Forest Ainslie, Kaelynn Ellis, and Kadyn Ellis; brother, Gary (Susie) Hunter; sister, Sonia (Don) Sommer; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and first husband, Larry Case.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mark Hunter.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Carol's life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
