SILVER LAKE, IN- At the recent Pickleball for Charity event held at Sorg’s Pickleball courts, the event raised an impressive $4000.00 for Rising Kites, a nonprofit organization that provides support to families with children with Down Syndrome. They would like to express their appreciation to the Wabash County Community Foundation for their $500.00 startup donation, as well as to the numerous individuals who donated to this event.
Mark Sorg, charity event coordinator stated, "The generosity and kindness displayed by the community is truly inspiring."
The next Pickleball for Charity event will take place on September 6, from 8am to 3pm, with proceeds benefiting Daniel's Place in North Manchester. They will have food and drinks available for purchase and encourage you to bring your chairs and join in for a fun-filled day of pickleball, socializing, and community engagement.
