Police involved shooting in Wabash County

This from wishtv.com: WABASH COUNTY, IN — Indiana State Police investigators are looking into a Thursday police shooting in Wabash County, according to ISP Public Information Officer Sgt. Stephen Glass. The shooting happened just before 9 a.m. in the 200 block of Crappie Road in Silver Lake, Sgt. Glass confirmed to News 8. That’s a mostly rural area off of State Road 114, roughly 8 miles southeast of downtown Silver Lake. No officers were injured and there is no threat to the public, Glass said on X. Glass, who works out of the state police post in Peru, did not say if anyone else was hurt. It’s not clear what led to the shooting or how many officers were involved. More information will be released later in the day Thursday, Glass says.
