Paul D. Gibson, 74, of Claypool, Indiana, died Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at his home. He was born on May 1, 1951, in Wabash, Indiana, to Robert and M. Eileen (Bechtold) Gibson.
Paul was a 1969 graduate of Manchester High School, and received his associate degree from Purdue University. He worked as the design manager for Whitley Manufacturing in South Whitley, Indiana. Paul enjoyed fast cars and collecting guns.
He is survived by his sister, Janis (Tom) Rager of Peru, Indiana; niece and nephew, Jason (Angela) Rager of Bloomington, Indiana, and Alissa (Mark) Zeigler of Polo, Illinois; great-nieces and nephews, Zach Rager of Bloomington, Indiana, Nicole Zeigler of Chicago, Illinois, Rebekah Zeigler and Gage Zeigler, both of Polo, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call 4-8 pm Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, 207 W. Main Street, North Manchester, Indiana, 46962. Private burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia, at a later date.
