Healthcare Foundation of Miami County accepting grant applications to improve community health

    PERU, IN- The Healthcare Foundation of Miami County, Indiana is seeking grant applications for funding opportunities up to $1,000,000 to support impactful projects that strengthen and improve the health and wellness of Miami County residents. The Foundation’s mission is to support charitable public health organizations and programs that strengthen and improve community health for the people of Miami County. With a focus on long-term sustainability, awarded funds are intended to be distributed and used over several years. The Foundation is particularly interested in projects that address the following priority areas: · Obesity, physical inactivity, nutrition, and chronic disease education and prevention · Supporting healthy families · Expanding health services · Mental health and increasing access to mental health services Interested applicants are invited to submit a brief overview of their project for initial review. This request for proposal must be submitted by August 15, 2025.
