Marvin O. Weaver, 92, Marion, passed away at 5:28 am on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Rolling Meadows Health & Rehabilitation Center in LaFontaine. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, May 24, 1932, to James and Pearl (Hansley) Weaver.
Marvin graduated from Sweetser High School and served in the United States Air Force. He then worked as an electrician with General Motors in Marion. He enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears. He liked playing cards and being with his family. Marvin was a hard worker. He loved his dog Lilly.
Survivors include his daughter, Baana (Terry) Diller of Marion; son, Toby (Susy) Weaver of Converse; grandchildren, Ty (Betsy) McInturff, Megan (Jimi) Moore, Erin (Jackson) Gall, Daniel (Jodi) Weaver, Craig (Macie) Rosman, Jacob (Yvonne) Rosman, Bradley (Jasmine) Rosman; great-grandchildren, Eli, Mia, Eva McInturff, Naomi, Elsi, Lucy, Junia Moore, Daphne Gall, Judah and Sage Weaver, Hoyt, Beckett, Easton, and Naya Rosman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James N. and Pearl Weaver; wife, Donna Weaver; first wife, Carol Weaver; brothers, Floyd Weaver, Orvin Weaver, Melburne Weaver, Chester Weaver, Larry Weaver; sister, Neuberta Weaver; step-son, Danny Weaver; and granddaughter, Kelly McInturff.
The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Marvin's life will begin at 5:00 pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park at a later date.
