Lois Elaine Roberts, 89 Years, Marion, passed away at 8:04 pm on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Marion Health. She was born in Hudson, Wisconsin, on Thursday, July 18, 1935, to Joseph and Lillian (Fuller) Clothier. She married George E. J. Roberts, Jr., and he preceded her in death on January 18, 2024.
Lois worked in the nursery at her home church when she lived in Modesto, CA. She enjoyed crocheting and greatly enjoyed working with children.
Survivors include her son, Steven (Esther) Roberts of Santa Rita, Guam; daughter, Barbara Roberts of Marion; grandson, David (Darby) Roberts of WA; granddaughter, Danielle Roberts of WA; sisters, Carol (Late Ed) Howle of CA and Harrietta Lewellen of Logansport; and brother, Joseph (Carol) Clothier Jr. of Logansport.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Clothier; mother, Lillian G. Clothier; husband, George Roberts, Jr.; son, George E. J. Roberts, III; and daughter, Deborah (William) Stauss.
A committal service followed by urn burial will take place at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Marion National Cemetery, 1700 E. 38th St., Marion, IN, 46952.
