Jerrica Sharae Harshaw

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jerrica Sharae Harshaw.  Born and raised in Marion, she was the beloved daughter of Billy and Ula Harshaw. The life of Jerrica Harshaw is the story of an amazing life lived to the fullest by a kind, outgoing, and loving woman. Jerrica was the brightest and most caring person anyone would come across. She never knew a stranger; she loved everyone around her and would welcome you with open arms. Her radiant smile and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of many. Jerrica attended Marion High School. She worked as a cashier for Goodwill and was a house manager for HOPE House. Jerrica was not only a house manager, but also a devoted mentor and an unwavering advocate for everyone at Hope House. She attended REAL Community Covenant Church of Marion. Jerrica's life was a testament to her love for family and community. She was always there to lend a helping hand, offer a listening ear, or share a hearty laugh. Her presence was a source of strength and comfort to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Jesus welcomed her to Heaven with open arms. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her. Jerrica will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, kindness, and joy will continue to inspire those who were touched by her life. Survivors include her mother, Ula Harshaw of Warren; father Billy (Jennifer) Harshaw of Hartford City; siblings, Shandel (Danny) Hodge, Terrance (Kayla) Smith, Rian (Brenda) Harshaw, Khaneisha (Trey) Ferguson, Jade (TJ) Boothby, Selena Harshaw, Gianna Harshaw, Jocelynne Harshaw, Aubree Harshaw, Bennie Harshaw, Braelynne Harshaw, Blaze Harshaw, Bentley Harshaw, and Brystal Harshaw; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Myra Jean Harshaw, Vivani Akers, and Arnold Akers. The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Real Community Covenant Church, 1240 South Adams St.. Marion, IN 46953. Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Jerrica's life will begin at 1:30 pm with Pastor Andrew Morrell officiating. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory - Marion. Memorial contributions may be directed to her family to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements have been entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel 1341 N.
