Angela “Angie” Yvonne Scott

Angela "Angie" Yvonne Scott, 50, Marion, passed away at 7:45 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2025, in her home. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Friday, May 24, 1974, to Don and Cathy (Huffman) Scott.   Angie graduated from Marion High School and pursued an Associate’s degree in Nursing through Ivy Tech. She worked as an LPN for many years, dedicating her career to caring for others. Angie’s greatest joy in life was being called “Grandma Gigi” by her beloved grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with them. Angie enjoyed coloring, painting her nails, and dressing up her dog, Chloe. She was an avid reader from a young age and continued to be a skilled reader throughout her life. Angie was deeply dedicated to her family and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her parents, Don (Cathy) Scott of Marion; husband and soulmate, Troy Robinson, Sr., of Marion; sons, Troy (Desiree) Robinson, Jr., and Cameron (Cydney) Robinson, both of Marion; grandchildren, Kaysonn, Lailyyn, Maleigha, Malaysia, and one on the way; brother, Donnie W. (Nancy) Scott of Marion; niece, Seana (Adam) Parras; nephews, Donald Scott, III, and Derrin (Karen) Scott; several cousins and friends; her beloved dog, Chloe; and mother-in-law, Mildred Robinson. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Francis (Laura) Scott and Gene (Betty) Huffman. The family would like to express a special thank you to Cameron and Cydney, as well as the staff of Guardian Angel Hospice in Kokomo, for their care and compassion during the end of Angie's life. The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN. On Friday, February 28, 2025, a service to celebrate Angie's life will begin at 11:30 am.  Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park. Memories may be shared online at www.nswcares.com.
