Joan "Joanie" M. Bunch, 56, Gas City, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Marion Health. She was born in Portland, Indiana, on August 21, 1968, to Jack and Carol Kikendall. On February 14, 2000, she married Robert A. Bunch.
Joan graduated from Mississinewa High School. She then received her associates degree in Accounting.
She worked at SEARS, Pierce Governor, and American Pharmaceutical Services. However, her true passion was being a devoted mother and wife, delighting in caring for her family. She cherished crafting with her daughter Natalie and enthusiastically attended sporting events, cheering on her children and grandchildren. A dedicated Colts fan, she adored capturing precious moments with her loved ones and treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Bunch; children, Colby LeFeber, Natalie Bunch, Larissa Bunch, and Maranda Bunch; mother, Carol Welton; siblings, Jack (Sherrie) Kikendall, Scott (Cindy) Kikendall, Steve (Hanna) Kikendall, Brenda (Mark) Ancil, and Ryan (Trista) Kikendall; 7 grandchildren, Braylon Bunch, Cohen Crick, Carter Fetz, Creighton Crick, Jaxon LeFeber, Peyton LeFeber, and Myles Pulley.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Kikendall.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Joan's life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Al Soultz officiating.
