Michael W. Rohrer, 69, Marion, passed away at 11:01 am on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial in Muncie. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, August 20, 1957, to William and Virginia (Bowland) Rohrer.
Michael graduated from Marion High School in 1975. He retired from RCA after 29 years and then graduated from Ivy Tech as a certified medical assistant. He was a member of ABATE and was an avid Harley rider and also enjoyed playing cards.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Rohrer of Marion; son, Tom Rohrer of Mt. Vernon, KY; siblings, David (Mikki) Flyn, Marjorie Joan (Wayne) Ellis of Marion; grandchildren, Fox Keesling, Ocean Blaine Rohrer, Patience Mae Rohrer, Emmit Valor Rohrer, and Merrit Wilde Rohrer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Roscoe and Virginia Rohrer; and his sister, Sue Flyn.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Michael’s life will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating.
