
Pamela Sue Berry, 78, Huntington, Indiana passed away at 12:37 am on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Parkview Huntington Hospital in Huntington. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Saturday, August 30, 1947, to Don and Betty (Davis) Kirkwood. On Saturday, June 25th, 1966, she married Dan Eugene Berry at the Swayzee Methodist Church. They would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
Pam grew up in Marion, Indiana and graduated from Mississinewa High School in 1965. Pam worked as a reading tutor at Riverview Middle School and as a realtor before working at the Huntington City-Township Public Library for ten years. Later, she volunteered at Kids Kampus where she loved working with children. She eventually accepted a full-time position there because she enjoyed it so much. Pam was also a regular blood donor for many years.
Pam’s greatest joy was being with her family, especially her grandkids.
Survivors include her husband, Dan Eugene Berry of Huntington; children, Brandi Smith, and Brent (Michelle) Berry of Lowell, MI; sister, Sandy (Joe) Kramer of Navarre, OH; grandchildren, Maddie (Jarred) Twilley, Katie (Jake) Lock, Noah (Cadence) Smith, and Brendon Berry; great-grandchildren, Skylar Smith, Elijah Twilley, and Natalie Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Don Kirkwood and Betty Kirkwood; and her brother Joe Kirkwood.
The family will receive visitors from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Pamela’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Thrailkill Cemetery.
