Daryl Heagy, 67, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 5:50 pm, Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Parkview Health Randallia in Fort Wayne. He was born on October 20, 1958, in Wabash, Indiana, to Arden and Julia Mae (Cooper) Heagy.
Daryl graduated from Southwood High School in 1977. He later married Tracey Bunnell in Wabash on August 5, 2005, and she survives. Over the years, Daryl worked at the Shirt Shed and Wabash Metals, and he also spent time on the road driving truck for Schneider Trucking-work he took pride in. Daryl had a competitive spirit and enjoyed spending time with friends playing pool in local tournaments and bowling with the Arden Electric team. He loved the freedom of riding his Harley and had a lifelong affection for animals, especially his loyal dog, Bruno, who was never far from his side.
He is survived by his wife, Tracey Heagy of Wabash; father Arden Heagy of Wabash; two brothers, Kelby (Teresa) Heagy of Wabash, and Ron (Denise) Heagy of Waterloo, South Carolina; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, and his ex-spouse, Belinda Webb.
There will be no services. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
