Brenda Sue Borders, 63, Gas City, passed away in her home at 7:45 pm on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on Thursday, June 6, 1963, to Eldon and Mary (Roll) Jamieson. On July 4, 1997, she married Henry Borders, Jr., who survives.
Brenda graduated from Eastbrook High School and devoted her life to raising and caring for her family. She loved watching the Jimmy Swaggart Show and spending time with her family, especially keeping busy with her children. She enjoyed helping with the family-owned, Sue Bug Taco Tater food truck and dearly loved her cats.
Survivors include her daughter, Savannah Borders; sons, Nolan Borders, Brandon Jensen, Austin Jensen; grandchildren, Levi, Lakota, Ashlynn, Leni Sue, Paisleigh; and brother, Brian (Lisa) Jamieson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Mary Jamieson.
The family will receive visitors from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, as well as an additional visitation 1 hour prior to the service from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on Thursday at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
A funeral to celebrate Brenda’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the funeral home. Pastor Mick Simpkins will be officiating with burial following at Riverside Cemetery.
