
Linda Irene Schuller, 87, of Gas City, passed away at 2:55 am on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Waters of Hartford in Hartford City. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Friday, August 12, 1938, to Lester and Maxine (Howell) Kellogg. She married Robert Schuller, and he preceded her in death.
Linda worked at Delta Electric and Webb’s Hallmark. Linda was an avid square-dancer and was in a square dancing club in Warren with her husband for many years. She enjoyed watching old westerns and drinking her homemade (coke and grenadine) cherry cokes. She loved celebrating traditions with her family, especially Christmas with the whole family. Linda will be remembered as a loyal and family-centered woman. She will be missed dearly.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Lynn (James) Poe of Marion; sons, Frank (Rhonda) Sample of Gas City, Dennis (Missy) Sample of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Kyle (Ashley) Poe, Beau Sample, Paxton Sample, Ethan Sample; great grandchildren, Eli, Baylor, Addalyn, James, Alice, Elizabeth; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Maxine Kellogg; husband, Robert Schuller; brothers, Fred Kellogg, Gene Kellogg; sisters, Joanne Kellogg, Betsy Swafford; and her beloved cat, Callie.
The family will host a celebration of life service at a later date.
