WABASH COUNTY, IN- Habitat for Humanity of Wabash County is calling on community members to lend a hand—on the construction site and in the kitchen— for its latest home in Wabash County.
Volunteers are needed to assist with construction – no prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn, work hard, and be part of something meaningful. Individuals, groups, and businesses are all encouraged to participate. Skilled and unskilled volunteers alike play a vital role in helping local families achieve safe, affordable housing.
In addition to construction volunteers, Habitat is also seeking individuals, organizations, and local businesses to provide lunches for volunteer crews. Supplying lunch can mean preparing a simple meal, buying take-out or donating money. Just follow the link on our website, wabashhabitat.org to choose what day you would like to help.
Volunteer opportunities are on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays and available May through August. Whether you can give a few hours on-site or organize a lunch for a crew, your support makes a lasting difference right here in Wabash County.
To sign up to volunteer or to provide a meal, please visit wabashhabitat.org or contact Becky Arnett by emailing becky@wabashhabitat.org ot calling 260-563-9188.
