Ambassadors Club awards grants across Miami County

MIAMI COUNTY, IN- At their first meeting of the year, Miami County’s Ambassadors Club awarded a series of pop-up grants to support local organizations and community initiatives.

Made up of former MCCF board members, the Ambassadors Club meets twice a year to respond to emerging needs and opportunities across the county. This round of funding supported Bunker Hill Baseball, North Miami Youth League, Peru Indiana Youth Baseball, Serenity House, Feed My Sheep, Nickel Plate Trail, the Back to School Festival, and Scratching Post Cat Rescue.

These grants reflect the many ways local organizations are serving Miami County, from youth programs and community events to essential services and quality of life projects.

Among the recipients, Scratching Post Cat Rescue continues to provide vital care for animals in our community. Since 2014, this volunteer-led organization has rescued and rehomed hundreds of cats each year, relying on donations, adoption fees, and grants to support their work.

The Miami County Community Foundation is grateful to the Ambassadors Club for continuing to invest in projects that make a difference across Miami County.
