Carol Ann Berg, 84, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 3:30 am, Saturday, March 28, 2026, at The Waters of Wabash West in Wabash. She was born on May 13, 1941, in Wabash, Indiana, to George P. and Virginia Carol (Plank) Berg.
Carol was a 1959 graduate from Wabash High School, and then went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree from Manchester College. She was a member of Wabash First United Methodist Church. Carol was a group home leader for workshop enterprises for several years, and worked all her life in the health care field. She enjoyed painting, and had a huge record album collection; mainly religious and classical music.
She is survived by her brother, George Thomas Berg of Wabash, and a special friend, Karen Oliveto. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Lore Gibson officiating. Burail will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash, at a later date. Friends may call 1:00 – 2:00 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Wabash First United Methodist Church.
