Honeywell Arts & Entertainment to host 2026 Summer Camps


WABASH, IN- Honeywell Arts & Entertainment will present a variety of summer camp offerings for students in grades Pre-K through 12 to attend in the month of June. Registration for Summer Art Camp and Summer Theatre Camp is open through June 1. Registration is available at honeywellarts.org/camp or by calling the Honeywell Box Office at 260.563.1102. Summer Camps are sponsored by Halderman Real Estate & Farm Management.

Honeywell Summer Visual Art Camps are led by professional artists and educators and offer a fun learning experience exploring various art forms and techniques.

Pre-K Art & Music: June 22-26 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Honeywell Center
Instructor – Julia Touloukian and Lisa Fadil
Little artists and musicians are invited to explore, create, and play! Designed especially for Pre-K learners, this joyful camp blends creative play with gentle structure as campers create, move, paint, and explore sound. Through hands-on art and music activities, children build fine motor skills, imagination, and confidence. For ages 4-5.

Grades K-1: June 8-12 or June 22-26 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Honeywell Center
Instructor – Danielle Winger or Jackie Carpenter
Young artists will experiment with drawing, painting, printmaking, and simple 3D art. Through playful projects and guided prompts, campers will build creative confidence while developing problem-solving skills, persistence, and expressive ideas.
For students who will have just completed grades K-1 at the end of this school year.

Grades 2-4: June 8-12 or June 15-19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Honeywell Center
Instructor – Katy Gray
Art camp will provide an exciting variety of learning and making. In addition to projects working with clay and engaging with spray paint, students will be introduced to the artistic genre of Expressionism. While learning about one of art history’s most
famous expressionists, Edvard Munch, students will create artwork inspired by their own feelings. For students who will have just completed grades 2-4 at the end of this school year.

Grades 5-8: June 8-12 or June 15-19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Honeywell Center
Instructor – Nora Majors
Going with the Flow is a hands-on summer art week inspired by water in all its forms. Artists will create dynamic projects using papier-mâché, acrylic paint, watercolors, alcohol markers, and permanent markers, exploring movement, texture, pattern, and color through ocean and underwater themes. For students who will have just completed grades 5-8 at the end of this school year.

Grades 9-12: June 22-26 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Honeywell Center
Instructor – Hannah Burnworth
This summer art experience invites students to explore a wide range of materials and ideas through the unifying theme of growth. Together, we’ll consider how growth shows up in our lives—through change, self-discovery, creative risk-taking, and inspiration drawn from the world around us, especially nature. For students who will have just completed grades 9-12 at the end of this school year.

Summer Theatre Camp
Honeywell Summer Theatre Camps provide students with multi-week experiences as they rehearse and perform a fully staged musical. All camps have the support of a team of passionate theatre, education, and artistic professionals.

Grades 1-4: Hats! – Camp Weekdays: June 8-17 from 1-5 p.m. at the Honeywell Center
Director – Kaitlyn Whinery and Jessi Bair-Wilkening
Young performers will explore acting, movement, and improv through games and exercises, building confidence and teamwork. The camp will culminate in a performance of Hats! For students who will have just completed grades 1-4 at the end of this school year. Performance will take place on June 17 at 5:30 p.m. at the Honeywell Center. No auditions required.

Grades 5-8: Disney’s Descendants: The Musical – Camp Weekdays: June 8-26 from 1-5 p.m. at the Honeywell Center
Directors – Lindsay Rice and Sharon Lehman
Participants will dive into acting, singing, and stage movement as they rehearse for a production of Disney’s Descendants: The Musical. For students who will have just completed grades 5-8 at the end of this school year. Performances will take place on June 26 and June 27 at 5:00 p.m. at the Honeywell Center. Auditions required for lead roles.
Grades 9-12: Hadestown: Teen Edition – Camp Weekdays: June 8-26 from 1-5 p.m. at the Honeywell Center
Directors – Jessica Keffaber and Emily France

Students will have the opportunity to perform in Hadestown: Teen Edition, honing their acting, singing, and dancing skills. For those interested in behind-the-scenes action, there’s also the option to work backstage, learning about stagecraft, lighting, and theatre production. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, this camp is all about creativity, collaboration, and building confidence! For students who will have just completed grades 9-12 at the end of this school year. Performances will take place on June 26 and June 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the Honeywell Center. Auditions required for lead roles.
