WABASH, IN — This from fwbusiness.com: The Learn More Center (LMC) has been honored with the 2025 Growth Project of the Year Award, a new award from Grow Wabash County. The award was presented during the annual State of Our Communities Breakfast, recognizing the Learn More Center’s transformative expansion and its impact on workforce development and adult education across Wabash County.
The Growth Project of the Year Award recognizes initiatives that significantly contribute to the economic vitality and long-term growth of the county. The Learn More Center’s newly renovated adult learning and workforce training facility was selected for its collaborative vision and commitment to adult education.
“This recognition reflects the incredible collaboration of our community,” said Cynthia Johnson, executive director of Learn More Center, in the announcement. “I am so honored, humbled, and thankful for this award. I am thankful for all those who have helped our project. We could not have grown without everyone who supported us. Our LMC team is so excited for our new adventures.”
The project represents a shared community investment in Wabash County’s future, creating new opportunities for adults to gain education, industry certifications, and the skills needed to support local businesses and strengthen the regional workforce.
As the county’s primary hub for adult education and workforce training, Learn More Center continues to connect residents with opportunities to learn, grow, and build brighter futures.
