Honeywell Arts & Entertainment announces Youth Arts Month



WABASH, IN – Honeywell Arts & Entertainment will present Youth Arts Month throughout March, featuring free art exhibits, performances, and workshops for youth and families. Next Generation: Youth Arts Month Exhibit – Clark Gallery in the Honeywell Center
The Youth Arts Month gallery exhibit features student artwork from across the community. Each week highlights different grade levels, showcasing the creativity and growth of young artists at every stage. The exhibit will be on display at the Clark Gallery in the Honeywell Center from March 3 through March 29.

Youth Edition: Open Mic – Fri., March 6 at 6:00 p.m. and Sat., March 7 at 10:00 a.m. at the Eagles Theatre
A fun, low-pressure chance for young performers of all levels to take the stage. Soloists and small groups are invited to share music of all kinds, poetry, theatre scenes, and other creative performances in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. Sign-up begins 30 minutes before the show starts. Performers must be ages 18 and under. Free admission.

Wabash County Honors Band & Choir – Fri., March 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Honeywell Center
Wabash Valley Music Association presents this annual celebration of talented musicians and vocalists from Wabash County high schools. Free admission, no ticket required. This concert is sponsored in part by the Howard M. Garver Wabash Valley Music Association Endowment and the Larry and Anne (Garver) Curless Endowment for Honors Band & Choir.

Teen Art Night – Wed., March 25 and Fri., March 27 at 6:00 p.m. at the Eagles Theatre
Featuring crafts and projects inspired by TikTok and current trends. Come make something you’ll be excited to share with friends! Ages 12-18. Free admission.

Youth Arts Activity Day – Sat., March 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Honeywell Center:

Workshops
9:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. – Shrinky Dink Creations with Katy Gray
Create tiny works of art with a big wow factor! Kids will design, color, and shrink their own Shrinky Dink creations into fun keychains, magnets, and wearable jewelry to take home. Recommended for ages 12 and under; all ages welcome.

10:15 a.m. – Shoebox Foosball with Erica Tyson
Design, build, and play! Kids will create their own shoebox foosball table by designing the field, crafting players, and engineering the game board – then take home a fully playable game to enjoy with family and friends. Recommended for ages 12 and under; all ages welcome.
