WABASH COUNTY, IN- This from 21alivenews.com (WPTA) – A 91-year-old grandmother in Wabash County has lost her home of nearly 60 years after a recent fire.
According to the family, the ‘devastating loss’ came after they tried to thaw frozen water lines.
Granddaughter Kiana Parrett says, despite a lifetime of hardship, her grandmother has remained ‘strong, kind, and rooted in the Lord’.
As her grandmother navigates the loss, Parrett says she had to do something to ‘support a woman who has spent her life giving to others’.
Parrett has created a GoFundMe to provide her grandmother with immediate necessities, housing support, and comfort.
“Any donation, prayer, or share means more than we can express,” Parrett said.
