Marilyn K. Bowling, 79, passed away at 4:14 am on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Marion Health. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Monday, December 9, 1946, to Paul and Joanne (Jones ) Smith.
She worked at RCA and retired from United Technologies / McDonalds. She enjoyed playing bingo, hanging out with friends at McDonalds, and playing with her dog Spaz. Marilyn liked watching Jeopardy and old reruns of Gun Smoke.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Woodrow Bowling of Marion, IN; granddaughter, Cailey Gilbert; and grandson, Robby Gilbert.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Joanne Maywood Bowling and Melissa Ann Bowling; mother, Joanne Smith; father, Paul Smith; brother, Donald Smith.
At Marilyn’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
