
Julia Diane Sanders, 74, of Sheridan, passed away at 11:50 p.m. on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Riverview Health Hospital in Noblesville. She was born in Greenville, Tennessee, on Tuesday, September 11, 1951, to Clifford Baskett and Rosetta (Jones) Dodson.
Julia devoted her life to caring for her home and family, pouring her love into every task she performed. Her days were centered around faith and family-she found peace in reading her daily devotionals, studying her Bible, and nurturing a deep, abiding relationship with God. She also enjoyed the quiet joys of working puzzles, spending time with her beloved cat, Jazzy, and being surrounded by the family who meant everything to her.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert E. (Cari) Cassidy, II, Tammy (Steve) Wolf, David Cassidy, and Ashley (Wayne) McGinnis; grandchildren, Krae (Erin) Wolf, Jamie Lee, Bobby (Amanda) Cassidy, Adrian (Caleb) Wolf, Nicholas (Morgan) Cassidy, Kayla (Brent) Wolf, Lindsey (Randy) Wolf, Lacy Cassidy, Matthew Frazier, Tierra (Justin) Cassidy, Ethan George, and Ryleigh McGinnis; 25 great‑grandchildren; sister, Carol (Steve) Gary; and nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Sanders; her sister, Linda Newton; her brother, Billy Dodson; her granddaughter, Garbriella George; and her son‑in‑law, Steven Wolf.
The family will receive visitors from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Needham‑Storey‑Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following visitation, a service celebrating Julia’s life will begin at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Devin Miller officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
