Rainette Denise Godfroy, 67, of South Whitley, Indiana, formerly of Dayton, Ohio died, Monday, January 12, 2026, at Wellbrooke of Wabash. She was born on April 20, 1958, in Peru, Indiana, to Richard and Jayne (Stanley) Godfroy.
Rainette was a 1976 graduate of North Miami High School, and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Ball State University. She worked in Civil Service, and was most recently at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Rainette enjoyed playing softball and volleyball throughout her school career. She also enjoyed traveling and exploring the world.
She is survived by two brothers, Randy (Teresa) Godfroy of South Whitley, and Rory (Sandy) Godfroy of Bunker Hill, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Lisa Dawn Godfroy.
