
Alice Young, 100, of North Manchester, Indiana, died at 9:00 pm, Monday, January 12, 2026, at Parkview Wabash Hospital. She was born on October 18, 1925, in Granger, Indiana, to George and Mary Bernice (Regan) Gibson.
Alice worked for 40 years at Uni-Royal in Mishawaka-she also worked for 20 years at Republic Parking, where she retired twice. She was a member of the International Twins Association with her twin sister, Edith Potts. Alice was also a member of the Uni-Royal Ladies Club and Uni-Royal Ladies Bowling League. She attended Granger Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. Alice enjoyed playing golf and doing handicrafts: she made Raggedy Ann dolls and embroidered pillowcases. She loved to eat, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Alice is survived by two sons, Paul (Tanya) Young, of Galesburg, Michigan, and Dan Young, of Illinois; six grandchildren, Chuck (Tara) Young, of Kettering, Ohio, Aaron Young and Randi (Matthew) Fall, both of Mishawaka, Michael Young, of South Bend, Indiana, Brittany (Joe) Kobza, of Michigan, and Justen (Kristy) Young, of North Manchester; 19 great grandchildren, as well as six great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Harold Gibson, and four sisters, Mildred Switzer, Frances Scheiber, Maxine Miller, and Edith Potts.
At this time, there will be no services. Final resting place will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Osceola, Indiana. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
