Timothy W. Shipley, 61, of Marion, passed away at 2:39 pm on Saturday, January 3, 2026, in his home. He was born in Huntington, Indiana, on Tuesday, May 12, 1964, to Curtis and Kathryn (Sparks) Shipley.
He worked as a custodian at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida until his retirement. Tim loved spending time with his family and friends.
Tim is survived by his daughter, Tiffaney (Danny) Taylor of Gas City; grandchildren, Austin Taylor, Shelby Taylor, Layton Taylor, Dylan Taylor; sisters, Lisa Shipley, Tracy Flannery; nephew, Jay M. Shipley; close friends, Lori Landis and Jack Beale; and several other friends as well.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis J. and Kathryn V. Shipley; brothers, Steven C. Shipley, Michael J. Shipley; sister, Kimberly Barnes; and brother-in-law, Bill Flannery.
At the family’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
