WABASH COUNTY, IN (WPTA) – This from 21alivenews.com: The Wabash County Animal Shelter saved 29 Beagles from ‘heartbreaking conditions’ on Friday, January 2nd, 2026.

The Huntington County Humane Society also recently assisted with a large-scale hoarding case involving hundreds of animals across multiple species. According to a report nearly 40 animals were impounded and brought into their care.

Both shelters said financial donations are critical, but other material donations like food and volunteering time are also appreciated.
