Salamonie Lake announces Senior Luncheon move to First Fridays, Jan. 2


ANDREWS, IN- The Senior Monday Luncheon will be held at noon, January 2 at the Salamonie Lake Interpretive Center, located in Lost Bridge West SRA. Anyone age 50 or older is welcome to attend.

Past interpretive naturalist Laura Whiteleather will provide a video from Indiana Outdoors about the local town of Andrews. It is called “Looking Back”. One segment has movies of the town and its people in the 1930’s. The other is about the Clark Twins who had their own exhibition basketball team and toured the world with the Harlem Globetrotters at one time.

The program begins with a carry-in meal at noon. Guests should bring a side dish to share, a beverage, and their table service. The main dish of pulled pork will be provided by Friends of Upper Wabash Interpretive Services. A donation will be accepted to help defray costs.

Seating is limited. Reservations may be made by calling 260-468-2127.
